The Chatswood Year of the Ox Festival is back with a collection of COVID-safe events celebrating luck, prosperity and good health for the new year ahead.

A feast of food and culture, this year’s festival combines exciting new events with familiar favourites. You’ll be in stitches as 6 of Sydney’s funniest comedians combine for the inaugural Lunar New Year Comedy Festival.

Experience a dazzling celebration of music and martial arts at the Chinese New Year Celebration Cultural Show. Feel inspired at Precious Treasures, an exhibition of artworks celebrating biculturalism curated by celebrated Australian Chinese artist Guan Wei.

The popular Golden Market returns. It’s your chance to enjoy stalls selling Asian and international food, gifts and decorations.

Discover the best places to eat and drink in our curated food trail and enjoy dazzling light art installations.

Children can enjoy lion dance workshops, cookie decorating, Karate and arts and craft.
